New vacancy: Country Director Burundi (05-08-2011)

The HealthNet TPO Burundi programme focuses on health system and community system strengthening and is known for its extensive work on mental health. The annual turnover is around 2 million Euro’s and the donors include the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, PSO, the WorldBank, GAVI and various UN agencies. Currently around 50 people are employed in the HealthNet TPO programmes in Burundi.

HealthNet TPO is also a member of the Dutch Consortium Rehabilitation (DCR). The DCR members are Save the Children, ZOA-refugee care and CARE. The DCR implements cross-thematic programmes in 6 countries known as fragile states. In Burundi HealthNet TPO is the lead DCR member.

The purpose of this position is to lead the HealthNet TPO programming in Burundi in line with HealthNet TPO’s vision and strategic directions. The Country director is overall responsible for the successful running of the HealthNet TPO programming in Burundi.
